Two questions:

1. Sales Manager at local Honda tells me no warranty comes with a 2005 Honda Accord that I am about to purchase. Is this true? It doesnt seem right. He told me that without a purchased plan, the warranty is “about 30 ft out the door”

2. Should I buy a warranty on this Accord. It has 18,500 miles and I know the previous owner (she was light on the car).

The dealer says this is a maintenance issue that should have been handled by the previous owner and therefore not covered by the warranty. They want to “split the cost” and charge me $300.00.
